In a previous post, I explained what an Etsy Treasury listing is all about.
Well, today I made my second one - really awesome covers for facial tissue boxes. You would not believe the incredible creativity that some crafters have poured into this usually-humble home accessory. Some of the photos in this post will give you an idea, but you really should have fun browsing the 16 examples in my latest Treasury.
I expected some knit/crochet and/or plastic canvas tissue box covers. I found some of those, plus fabric, wood, quilted, leather padded, and more. One shop even offered a plastic canvas pattern and another offers plans for a wood crafted model.
The reason I chose this theme is that I already have one of the pink sofa covers with the little heart cushions, from mickidmw's Etsy shop. I did a search to see how many other beautiful or unusual or especially creative covers were out there. I was totally surprised. There were far too many to include all the shops - the Treasury only allows for 16, but I tried to pick a big variety of materials (media) and styles.
